Marvel Comics Dark Web is X-Men Inferno Meets Spider-Man Clone Saga
We mentioned earlier today how a Marvel Comics brand for “dark web” in February led us to predict a series with this title. And that the Free Comic Book Day Spider-Man/Venom would reveal everything. Well, we have even more to reveal now. Because the image we saw previously has Ben Reilly in his Chasm Identity.
And Madelyne Pryor as Queen Gobin. Not the goblin queen. The two clones together, it can’t be a coincidence. Ben Reilly is the cloned Spider-Man of the 70s. who turned out to be still alive, with the intention of succeeding Peter Parker, in the saga of the clones of the 90s. as a cloned Jean Gray created by Mister Sinister was revealed and revealed as part of the 80s Inferno event.
Not the recent revival of this name of jonathan hickman but the original cross-company event, which saw New York possessed by hell, with scenes like this.
Possessed mailboxes themselves becoming rather possessive, with those who wanted to use them, thanks to Chris Claremont and Marc Silvestri.
And it’s a scene that’s revisited in the May 7 Spider-Man/Venom Free Comic Book Day, by Zeb Wells and John Rometa.
With Spider-Man on hand rather than Wolverine and Havok. Although people were grateful for mutants back then, they forgive Spider-Man less now. After all, there was something he did that we don’t know what. You can check out more upcoming Spider-Man gossip here.
And who set up this Hell reprise? Well, as previously teased…
It’s the unholy new team of Ben Reilly in his new Chasm look, and Madelyne Pryor, as the new Goblin Queen look. So how long until we have Queen Goblin Vs Goblin Queen as part of this new Dark Web event?
