‘Captain Carter’ #1 Coming to Marvel Comics March 2022 AIPT

Marvel Comics has revealed a new series on the way and it features a what if character from the recent Disney+ TV show otherwise known as Captain Carter. Teased yesterday with a UK shield, the series is written by Jamie McKelvie with art by Marika Cresta with a target release date of March 9, 2022.
“I’m as big a fan of Captain Carter as we saw on screen as anyone, so I jumped at the chance to make our own version,” McKelvie said. “I have a great time exploring what it would be like for Peggy to wake up nearly 80 years after the war ended. The world remembers the myth of Captain Carter, but for Peggy the reality was only yesterday “Now she finds herself in a new world almost unrecognizable, how does she fit in? Can she be the superhero that people want her to be? Exploring these questions has been really exciting, and I love it. the world that Marika and I have created. So what Captain Carter #1 about?
A reality where Agent Peggy Carter took the super-soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers is turned upside down when the WWII hero is pulled from the ice where she was lost in battle decades before. Peggy struggles to find her place in a modern world that has become much more complicated – cities are noisier, technology is smarter and enemies have friendly faces.
